Corporate Financial Analyst

What You’ll Do:

The Corporate Financial Analyst provides financial consulting and strategic support to Corporate Finance, including detailed reporting for all divisions, preparation of financial packages and presentations, detailed business and data analysis, process reviews, process improvement initiatives, documentation of key finance and business planning processes, and other projects requested by senior management. In office position, Greenwood Village, CO.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze financial performance across all divisions, including financial packages, financial statements, budget versus actual analysis, business plan analytics, cash flow analysis, and investment return (IRR) evaluations.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports by gathering, sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data.
• Provide reviews of finance, business planning, and related operational processes to identify improvement opportunities, enhance efficiency, and develop process documentation.
• Ensures compliance with financial and accounting policies, internal control procedures, and practices.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, with a heavy focus on Microsoft Excel. Experience with IBM TM1 a plus
• Understanding of GAAP and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements.
• Proficient in various other software and accounting systems.

Your Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting.
• Homebuilding accounting experience or public accounting experience with a large-sized accounting firm is a plus.

Compensation:

Century Communities (the "Company") intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $75,000 - $85,000 with the potential for an annual bonus. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401(k) plan.
