Omnidian • Seattle, Washington • Full Time

About Omnidian Omnidian, Inc. is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries.  Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience. We are a certified B Corp, headquartered in Seattle, WA

The Role

The Controller is Omnidian’s senior accounting leader and a core member of the leadership team. This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll partner directly with the CFO and business leaders across the company to build scalable accounting infrastructure, drive accounting strategy, and ensure Omnidian is audit-ready and transaction-ready at every stage of growth.

You’ll own the accounting function end-to-end — consolidations, close, compliance, audit, tax, and systems — while also serving as a forward-looking thought partner on how AI and automation can structurally improve how we operate. You will manage and develop a team of 4–8, including the Assistant Controller.

This role is for someone who is technically excellent, builds genuine relationships across the business, and sees accounting not as a reporting function but as a strategic enabler of growth.

What You’ll Do

At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:

Financial Reporting & Close

Audit, Compliance & Controls

Systems & AI Enablement

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

Who You Are

You’re a systems thinker who builds for scale, not just for today. You’re a relationship builder who earns trust with business partners by being both rigorous and accessible. You embrace AI and new methods as a genuine competitive advantage — you don’t wait to be asked. You’re direct, you operate with urgency, and you can translate technical accounting complexity into clear decisions for non-accounting leaders.

You’ve closed clean audits, survived due diligence, and know exactly what investors and acquirers will scrutinize when the time comes.

You won’t be successful here if you need a stable, fully-built environment. You will thrive if you want to build something, own it, and lead a team that’s proud of what Accounting stands for inside the company.
