An established and growing organization is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function for a business approaching $100M in annual revenue. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building and developing the accounting team while partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
- Develop and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and banking partners.
- Evaluate systems and processes to improve efficiency as the company continues to grow.
- Collaborate closely with operations to support overall business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ERP/accounting system experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or project-based accounting environments.
- Exposure to job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing.
- Experience supporting organizations with revenues approaching or exceeding $100M.
