THE ROLE

Our client is a well-established transportation and logistics organization with a long-standing reputation for delivering reliable freight solutions across North America. Having built a strong presence over several decades, they are known for their customer-focused approach, operational excellence, and commitment to continuous improvement. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Controller to join their Calgary leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Group Corporate Controller, the Controller will oversee the full accounting function for the Alberta operation while partnering closely with the on-site General Manager and remote finance team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role where you'll play a key part in strengthening financial processes, implementing internal controls, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decision-making.

This position is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day accounting activities.
