Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly account reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate close processes
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage and review revenue recognition and related accounting activities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in partnership with leadership
- Prepare and present financial statements and management reports
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Manage and mentor two accountants, providing oversight and development
- Serve as primary lead for audit support, including coordinating with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational financial standards
- Required: Sage Intacct
- Preferred: Bill.com, Concur
- Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Experience managing teams and overseeing multiple accounting functions
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach suited for an interim environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
