REV Entertainment, the exclusive events company of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field, and Choctaw Stadium, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to oversee and manage the organization’s financial operations.
This role requires a strong foundation in accounting and finance, coupled with a proven leadership in compliance, reporting and internal controls. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial processes while supporting the company’s continued growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Manage and oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and implement new accounting policies and procedures as required and approve.
Assist with treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships and liquidity planning.
Lead and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Supervise staff accountants, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and analyze financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, including at least 2–3 years in a Controller role.
Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or consumer-faced industries is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software systems required.
Strong knowledge of month-end close activities and financial statement preparation.
Familiarity with auditing practices and budget management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professional.
Professional presentation, appearance, and strong work ethic.
