Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a Controller (Director/Senior Director) with our partner, a publicly-traded, clinical-stage biotechnology company.

This critical hire will lead the daily operations of the finance department. You'll own the full accounting cycle, month-end close, reconciliations, consolidation, tax submissions, and audit support, while carrying overall responsibility for SEC financial reporting (10-Q and 10-K) and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control compliance. You'll also have the opportunity to direct technical accounting for complex transactions (acquisitions, financings, ASC 805 purchase price allocations) and lead the annual external and SOX audits.

Beyond core accounting, this leader will drive finance and systems initiatives, including change management across NetSuite, Fidelity, and FloQast, and partner cross-functionally with FP&A, R&D, Commercial, and Clinical teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You'll also have an opportunity to build and develop the accounting team.
