As a Senior Finance Business Partner supporting the North America Point of Care (POC) business, you will serve as a trusted advisor to commercial and business leadership, driving financial performance through strategic planning, business analysis, forecasting, reporting, and operational decision support.
This highly visible role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Global Leadership teams to deliver actionable financial insights, drive profitable growth, support strategic initiatives, and enhance business performance across the POC portfolio. The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen, business partnership skills, and analytical expertise to influence decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes.
You are responsible for:
Business Performance & Commercial Partnership
Serving as the primary finance business partner to the North America Point of Care Commercial Leadership Team.
Analyzing business performance, profitability, revenue growth, market trends, and key operational metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Developing executive-level financial analyses, performance reviews, dashboards, presentations, and business recommendations.
Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to support instrument placements, assay growth initiatives, new product introductions, pricing strategies, and commercial investment decisions.
Utilizing advanced financial modeling and data analysis techniques to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance.
Financial Reporting & Business Insights
Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes for the North America Point of Care business.
Consolidating, validating, and communicating financial results to North America and Global Leadership teams.
Developing reporting standards, performance dashboards, and management review materials that drive business accountability.
Delivering timely ad hoc analyses and actionable recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
Leading annual operating plans, budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes.
Consolidating and validating income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI forecasts across multiple business functions.
Partnering with business leaders to establish targets, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities to improve financial results.
Ensuring data integrity and consistency across financial planning and reporting systems.
Productivity & Operational Excellence
Driving productivity and efficiency initiatives across the Point of Care business.
Monitoring performance against productivity commitments and supporting implementation of improvement initiatives.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve organizational effectiveness.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
Establishing governance processes to support financial transparency, compliance, and operational accountability.
Facilitating risk management reviews and supporting mitigation planning across the business.
Ensuring compliance with internal control requirements, corporate policies, and financial governance standards.
Digital Finance & Process Transformation
Developing and executing digital finance strategies that improve reporting, analytics, forecasting, and decision support capabilities.
Leading finance transformation initiatives through automation, process optimization, and business intelligence solutions.
Evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools that enhance organizational effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
8+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Controlling, Finance Business Partnering, or related functions.
Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and performance analysis.
Demonstrated experience partnering with commercial, operational, or business leadership teams.
Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience developing executive-level presentations and communicating complex financial information to senior leadership.
Strong project management and change management capabilities.
Experience with business intelligence, analytics, reporting tools, and finance systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with Power Apps, Power BI, Jedox, SAP, or similar platforms preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced financial certification.
Experience supporting healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, life sciences, or commercial organizations.
Experience leading digital transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting P&L ownership, commercial strategy, and growth-oriented business environments.

The base pay range for this position is:
$141,340 - $194,337Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
