That’s why we are committed to developing interested employees into management roles, offering industry-leading benefit plan options, and fostering a positive and inclusive culture.Roles & Responsibilities: • Responsible for keeping clean books and making sure all accounts and schedules are reviewed, balanced, and maintained per company policies. • Lead and supervise the team of store accounting staff including continued training, development, performance reviews, and hiring. • Prepare complete financial statements and submit to the manufacturer and management in accordance with established timeframes. • Interpret and analyze financial statements and other financial reporting. • Keep the General Manager informed on the financial trends and needs of the business. • Prepare and submit monthly state sales tax remittances. • Calculate monthly commissions for sales staff and store management. • Manage and safeguard the stores assets and ensure that internal controls are in place. • Assist department managers in reading and interpreting their financial reports along with creating action plans needed to improve their operation. • Work with General Manager to improve revenue or reduce expense to meet or exceed budget and grow the business. • Work with regional staff to ensure that corporate initiatives are attained. • Prepare and submit required statements, reports, and reconciliations. • Close the books accurately and timely each month. • Respond to requests for information and assistance in a timely manner.What Morrie's Offers: • Industry-leading 401(k) and Roth IRA programs with a 4% company match • Full medical coverage through BCBS with their biggest network • HSA and Copay plan options, whichever fits your needs • Comprehensive dental and vision coverage • PTO accrual starting at 2 weeks • Free life insurance for all employees • AD&D, short- and long-term disability coverage, and voluntary life insurance • Flexible spending plans*Some benefits are offered to full-time employees onlyWhat You Offer: • Several years professional experience, including senior financial leadership in the automotive industry. • Degree in Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
