Responsibilities
- Manage all Union accounting operations including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Monitor and enforce Union policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate annual financial audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Oversee cash flow management, optimize working capital, and monitor all treasury management activities, including bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintains accurate and organized electronic files with supporting documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is required; however, equivalent experience in Labor Union accounting may be considered.
- Proficient skills in QuickBooks.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, producing accurate and high-quality work.

Salary
- $80,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and Labor Union financial experience.
