Controller

Family office in Beverly Hills is seeking a Controller to work with the CFO, the Controller will assist with all accounting functions for the residential and commercial properties and other business entities.

Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivables, vendor-set-up, lease maintenance, rent statements and other tasks as directed. 

Looking for someone who has successfully moved upwards in their career in the real estate/property accounting field. Must have supervisory experience. We need someone who is a self-starter, self-motivated, collaborative, and professional team player. 

Very interesting work and room for growth.  The CFO is an Ex-Big 4 CPA who is looking for her right hand. 

Following are other details:

• Accounting Degree required
• Big4 experience is a nice to have but other public accounting is OK
• Real Estate Accounting experience
• Real Estate Investment Accounting experience
• Must have an active CPA license

Requirements:

• MS Office Suite (strong Excel skills)
• Yardi software
• Property Management Software ex.-CenterSoft or other ERP system
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Controller or other senior level management experience
