Location: St Louis MO
Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 base + 15–20% annual bonus
Hybrid: 1–2 days remote after onboarding

Keys to Hire
• CPA preferred.
• Progressive Controller or Assistant Controller with broad controllership experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience required, or public accounting experience with extensive manufacturing clients.
• Experience across financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting, and finance.
• Proven leader who enjoys developing people and improving processes.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to enhance already strong accounting operations.
• Comfortable partnering with operations and executive leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred. Or CFA or MBA
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Experience leading most or all accounting and controllership functions.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close.
• Prior management experience, including oversight of accounting staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Job Duties
• Lead all accounting and controllership functions for the organization.
• Manage and develop the Accounting Manager while partnering with the broader finance team.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and maintain an efficient five-day month-end close.
• Continue improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Partner closely with the CFO and leadership team on strategic financial initiatives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and operational decision-making.
• Build scalable accounting processes to support the company’s continued rapid growth.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing accounting team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
