Cette personne jouera un rôle essentiel dans le développement de notre plateforme et dans la création de services exceptionnels pour nos investisseurs et notre direction à l’échelle de notre écosystème mondial. Vos responsabilités : Assurer l’exactitude des états financiers trimestriels, du reporting de la valeur liquidative et du reporting aux investisseurs pour plusieurs entités, notamment des fonds de capital de risque et de capital-investissement, des structures master-feeder, des véhicules à usage spécial (SPV) et des sociétés commanditées. Gérer les processus liés aux activités de capital (appels de capitaux, distributions, rééquilibrages, intérêts reportés, frais de gestion) et collaborer avec les administrateurs de fonds et les équipes des relations avec les investisseurs relativement au reporting, aux rapports clients et aux documents marketing conformément aux normes IFRS. Superviser les activités de comptabilité des fonds, notamment les écritures comptables, les évaluations, les rapprochements et la tenue des livres comptables pour les véhicules parallèles, les SPV et les comptes gérés ; soutenir la clôture des investissements relativement au financement et aux procédures KYC. Coordonner les audits et préparer les états financiers audités ; travailler avec les conseillers fiscaux afin d’assurer le respect en temps opportun des obligations réglementaires (FATCA/CRS, HST/GST, fiscalité américaine, canadienne et irlandaise) et soutenir les évaluations des contrôles, les classifications, les évaluations et les processus de conformité. Collaborer avec les équipes juridiques et commerciales dans le cadre du lancement de nouveaux fonds et des activités de levée de capitaux ; jouer un rôle de leadership dans l’automatisation des systèmes et la mise à l’échelle des plateformes de comptabilité des fonds et de contrôle. Effectuer toute autre tâche requise par votre gestionnaire. Expérience et qualifications : 1 à 2 ans d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité et en administration de fonds, de préférence dans le domaine des fonds privés. Une expérience au sein d’une société de gestion d’actifs ainsi qu’une exposition concrète à l’audit, à la comptabilité fiscale, au reporting FATCA/CRS, au reporting SLFI et à l’évaluation de niveau 3 des investissements constituent des atouts. Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un autre domaine connexe. Certification CA / CPA avec spécialisation en Normes internationales d’information financière (IFRS) constitue un atout. Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale, ainsi que la capacité de synthétiser et d’exprimer de façon concise des réflexions sur les entreprises et les marchés. Curiosité naturelle, autonomie et forte motivation, accompagnées d’un grand sens de la prise en charge et de la responsabilité. Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément, à établir les priorités et à travailler efficacement dans un environnement dynamique. Sens de l’organisation et grande attention aux détails. Excellente capacité d’exécution. Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais parlé et écrit ; une bonne maîtrise du français constitue un atout. More at https://www.sagard.com Position overview: We are currently looking for an outstanding individual to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing Finance organization as a Fund Accountant. This person will play a pivotal role in helping us scale our platform and create extraordinary investor and management services across our global ecosystem. Your Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of quarterly financial statements, net asset value reporting, and investor reporting for multiple entities, including Venture Capital and Private Equity funds, master-feeders, SPVs, and corporate general partners. Manage capital activity processes (capital calls, distributions, rebalancing, carried interest, management fees) and collaborate with fund administrators and investor relations on reporting, client reports, and marketing materials under IFRS. Oversee fund accounting activities including journal entries, valuations, reconciliations, and maintenance of books of record for parallel vehicles, SPVs, and managed accounts; support investment closings with funding and KYC. Coordinate audits and prepare audited financials; work with tax consultants to ensure timely compliance with regulatory filings (FATCA/CRS, HST/GST, US/Canadian/Irish tax) and support control assessments, classifications, valuations, and compliance processes. Partner with legal and business teams on new fund launches and fundraising activities; provide leadership on system automation and scaling of fund accounting and control platforms. Other tasks required by your manager. Experience & Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant fund accounting and administration work experience, preferably in private funds. Experience in an Asset Management firm, actual exposures to audit, tax accounting, FATCA/CRS reporting, SLFI reporting, and level 3 valuation of investments are a plus. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field. CA / CPA Certification with specialization in Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to synthesize and articulate thoughts about companies and markets concisely. Naturally curious, self-motivated with strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to multi-task, prioritize and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment Organized and strong attention to detail.
