Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients? Do you thrive in a collaborative, technology-driven environment? We're looking for a Client Accounting Specialist to join our growing CPA firm.
In this client-facing role, you'll partner with clients to support their day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with our Accounting Supervisor to deliver exceptional service. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy building relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Support client accounting functions and day-to-day financial operations.
- Process accounts payable and manage bill payments using Bill.com.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and answer accounting-related questions.
- Support the Accounting Supervisor with client engagements, workflow management, and deadlines.
- Help improve processes and assist with special projects as needed.
- 3+ years of accounting support, bookkeeping, or client accounting experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required; Bill.com experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- An accounting degree is not required—we value relevant experience and a willingness to learn.
