Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) is a social outreach ministry that has been empowering communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless since 1998. Founded in Austin, Texas, the organization serves its homeless neighbors through three core programs: Truck Ministry, Community First! Village, and Community Works. Often referred to as the most talked about neighborhood in Austin, Community First! Village is a 51-acre master planned development that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. We are now embarking on a new phase of community expansion, adding more than 1400 new neighbors over the next 5-10 years.

About the Role

Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) is seeking a mission-driven, strategic leader to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our rapidly growing organization. In this pivotal role, the CFO will steward the financial and operational health of MLF, ensuring systems and resources align with our organization's vision to empower communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.

The CFO will oversee the organization's financial strategy and accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service, while partnering with the Innovation Team to leverage technology, data, and process improvements that strengthen organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Working closely with MLF's Executive Strategy Team and Board of Directors, the CFO will help position the organization for long-term sustainability while remaining deeply rooted in MLF's relational core values and Gospel-driven mission.

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the President. While typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, flexibility will be to meet organizational needs, including occasional nights and weekends. The CFO will office at Community First! Village, located at 9116 Hog Eye Road, Austin, TX 78724.
