A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you are the mastermind behind planning, implementing, and managing all of the day-to-day activities at our country club related to finance and information technology. Being in an executive-level role, you act as the main business advisor to the general manager and CEO of the club by keeping track of our finances and all necessary accounting functions. In addition, you serve as a representative for our management team by attending the Board of Directors and Finance Committee meetings. • Develop policies to control and coordinate financing, accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes and related activities and records; develop, establish and administer procedures and systems pertaining to financial

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in a club environment OR a hospitality-related industry in accounting or finance
• Significant management experience, including leading an accounting office
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Certified Public Account
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Holding an MBA, MS, or MF in a related field would be a plus. Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive (CHAE) is preferred. Proficiency with club-specific software would be a plus but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
