Job Description
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other business entities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting accounting records.
- Perform general ledger analysis, reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities.
- Research tax issues and respond to tax notices and client inquiries.
- Provide proactive tax planning and financial guidance to clients.
- Build strong, long-term relationships through exceptional client service.
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client solutions while managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting and tax preparation experience.
- Experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard accounting software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
