Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our growing cardiology team as a Cardiac Procedure Scheduler / Holter Monitor & Billing Specialist. This unique dual-role position combines patient care coordination, cardiac procedure scheduling, Holter monitor management, and billing support.

Cardiac Procedure Scheduling
· Schedule cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, cardioversions, pacemaker and ICD implants, and other physician-ordered procedures.
· Coordinate scheduling with hospitals, surgery centers, providers, and patients.
· Obtain insurance authorizations and verify required documentation.
· Communicate procedure details, preparation instructions, and appointment information to patients.
· Maintain accurate scheduling records and procedure calendars.
Holter Monitor Management
· Apply and remove Holter monitors and event monitors.
· Educate patients on proper monitor use and troubleshooting.
· Track monitor inventory and ensure timely return of equipment.
· Download and process monitor data according to practice protocols.
· Coordinate report completion and provider review.
Billing & Administrative Support
· Perform charge entry and billing functions related to Holter monitoring and diagnostic testing.
· Review documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
· Assist with claim follow-up and reimbursement tracking.
· Work collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and billing personnel to resolve billing issues.
· Support additional administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
· Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
Preferred
· Experience in cardiology, procedure scheduling, or medical billing.
· Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
· Familiarity with Holter monitors and cardiac diagnostic testing.
· Understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, and revenue cycle processes.
The potential base pay for this position is $21 per hour.
