Job Summary: Technical/Professional – Buyer/Procurement AnalystAbout the Role:Join our dynamic team in Lexington, KY as a Buyer/Procurement Analyst and take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process for critical manufacturing programs. In this fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will be the primary point of contact for sourcing, scheduling, and material movement, supporting both front-end and back-end procurement activities. Leverage your expertise in data analysis and supplier management to drive operational excellence, while developing your career in a role with high visibility and cross-functional impact.Responsibilities:- Source, plan, and coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production lifecycle.- Analyze engineering and production specifications to determine procurement requirements and build effective schedules.- Serve as the go-to GSC planning contact for assigned programs, supporting proposal development and presenting performance metrics to leadership.- Operate and manage multiple Excel-based reports to track team and supplier performance.- Partner with product teams, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and issue resolution.- Lead communications for urgent procurement needs, expedite purchase orders, and manage material delivery timelines.- Resolve procurement blockages, frustrated materials, and accounts payable issues with cross-functional teams.- Cultivate advanced vendor and supplier relationships to support business objectives and continuous improvement.Required Skills and Experience:- Minimum 15 years in buyer, procurement, or supply chain analyst roles.- Advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups and data analysis).- Proven track record in problem-solving and critical thinking within procurement or supply chain environments.- Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.- Experience presenting to leadership and preparing performance metrics.- Effective cross-functional communication skills.Preferred Skills:- Prior experience supporting program kick-offs, configuration control, and program assessment meetings.- Demonstrated success managing competing priorities across diverse business areas.- Familiarity with resolving invoicing and accounts payable discrepancies.Benefits:- Exposure to high-impact projects and direct interaction with leadership.- Opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative, innovative environment.- Be part of a team that values initiative, flexibility, and creative problem-solving.How to Apply:Ready to take your procurement career to the next level?
