WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting and improving business processes through the effective use of systems and data. This position partners closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, system alignment, and efficient workflows across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, master data management, and cross-functional business operations while building a strong foundation in systems, analytics, and process improvement.
JOB DUTIES:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- EDI & Systems Support: Assist with EDI mapping and system configurations to support efficient sales order processing.
- Product Information Management: Maintain and ensure accuracy of finished goods data across ERP and external platforms (e.g., 1WorldSync).
- Master Data Management: Own the setup and maintenance of critical master data, including items, bills of materials, customers, suppliers, and general ledger accounts.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Develop and maintain exception reports and support data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of system information.
- User Support & Training: Provide day-to-day support to end-users and promote effective system utilization through guidance and training.
- Pricing & Customer Data Maintenance: Accurately maintain customer pricing and account information, ensuring alignment with contract terms.
- Fixed Assets & Financial Setup: Support setup and maintenance of capital assets and financial structures within the ERP.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve system efficiency; support continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) or ability to quickly learn complex systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of ownership and accountability over data accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data validation); ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Problem-solving mindset with curiosity and interest in systems, data, and process improvement
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business systems, accounting operations, data management, or a related role.
- Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Exposure to data analytics, reporting, or process improvement initiatives
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 30 lbs.
- Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.

HOURS & WORKDAYS:
8:00 PM to 5:00 PM; Monday through Friday, before/after hours, weekends and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs.
