Responsibilities
- Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Analyze variances, KPIs, and financial metrics to support decision-making.
- Partner with Latin America Controllers and Commercial leaders to identify business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with Volvo financial policies.
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within Finance and Business Control.
- Develop dashboards, data visualization tools, and automated reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes through digital tools and analytics.
- Promote a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance environment.requirementsQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience in controllership, FP&A, business partnering, and/or finance transformation, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Experience with automation, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and data visualization concepts.
- Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Query, SAP, or financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
- Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, or similar.
- MBA or post-graduation is a differential.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Previous experience in similar positions.
