Business Analyst/Power BI Developer – Finance & Accounting
100% Remote – but must be Chicago based as we get together a couple times/month for dinner and other social outings.
Summary
We are a profitable cryptocurrency based company, that has bootstrapped a business to $100MM in revenue. We have about 30 total employees, and are finally looking to bring our software development/IT function in house (have been used 3^rd parties).
We are looking for a Business Analyst/Power BI Developer to work with data in our accounting system (NetSuite – but NetSuite experience not required), and develop dashboards using Power BI with this data.
The main responsibilities will be focused around dashboard development, but candidates need to be willing and able to input data into NetSuite, do financial analysis, and present recommendations to business stakeholders.
What you'll be doing

Report to the CFO, to analyze financial data from the accounting systems
Work with business stakeholders to understand business goals, and what insights need to be derived from financial data
Input data into the accounting systems
Develop dashboards and reports from the accounting systems
Present data to business stakeholders and provide recommendations based on your analysis
Work with other areas of IT and business units to ensure the organization is being supported from a BI standpoint

Skills we're seeking

1-5 years of experience with Power BI Development
Experience and comfortability communicating with business stakeholders
Passion for cryptocurrency

Bonus skills

Experience working with finance and accounting data – or a Bachelor's Degree in a finance related field
Experience presenting data to executives
NetSuite experience
