We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist / Office Coordinator to work on-site at our Lincoln office as our longtime bookkeeper prepares for retirement after 33 years with our company.

Technical skills can be taught, but honesty, dependability, accountability, and a positive attitude are essential.
Primary Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on time
Accounts payable, bill payment, and vendor management
Accounts receivable and customer account support
Invoice entry and financial record keeping
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
Bank account and account reconciliation
General bookkeeping and accounting support
Data entry with a high degree of accuracy
Administrative and office support duties
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
Work closely with ownership, management, and team members
Learn and utilize our long-established DOS-based business software system
Assist with our ongoing integration and use of QuickBooks
Maintain confidentiality of company and employee financial information
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, or office administration experience
Experience with payroll processing, invoice entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
QuickBooks experience preferred
Experience with accounting software and computerized bookkeeping systems
Experience with DOS-based software is helpful but not required
Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record management preferred
Ability to work on-site at our Lincoln office during scheduled business hours
