Our client is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper. In this role, you will focus primarily on comprehensive bookkeeping and financial reporting while also providing administrative support to the Executive Director and team as needed. This part-time position offers flexibility and plays a key part in maintaining the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.
Key bookkeeping responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Recording and reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records
- Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts
- Processing payroll and related tax filings
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Managing invoicing, expense tracking, and financial data compilation
Additional administrative support may include:
- Organizing financial and operational documents and records
- Supporting meeting coordination and stakeholder communications
- Assisting the Executive Director and team with various administrative tasks related to financial operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a part-time capacity
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy with financial data
- Excellent communication abilities and comfort working independently
- Experience supporting executive or board-level stakeholders is a plus
