Billing Specialist

Job Description: Join LRT’s mission to inspire confidence in our partners by revolutionizing the truckload logistics industry as our Billing Specialist. Our Billing Specialist will support our mission by supporting all accounting and financial-related activities. The Billing Specialist will work closely with all departments to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of financial and management reports. The ideal Billinge Specialist will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and possess a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process customer and carrier invoices in internal accounting and transportation management systems
• Review freight documentation to ensureaccuratebilling and payment processing
• Manage payment status inquiries and communicate with customers, carriers, and factoring companies
• Process quick pay requestsin accordance withcompany procedures
• Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice-related issues within the TMS
• Answer and direct incomingcallson the main accounting phone line
• Follow internal controls and company procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Provide administrative and operational support to the accounting and executive teams
• Perform other duties as assigned
  Requirements

1. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred

1. Inherent customer service mindset and approach to all activities

1. Must be able to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment

1. Analytical skills includingproficiencywith Microsoft Office

1. PreviousExcelexperience preferred

1. Bachelor's degree in business/accounting-related field preferred
