Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description

Our client is a PE backed management and environmental services company experiencing rapid growth through both organic expansion and acquisition. This role leads the full revenue cycle, owning billing operations, AR aging, collections, and a team of 5+ specialists. With direct visibility to senior leadership, it's a high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment and wants their work to directly influence working capital and EBITDA performance. This is an in office role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end billing operations across multiple service lines, including route-based billing, surcharges, tonnage adjustments, and contract rate management
• Own the AR aging portfolio; manage DSO targets, drive collections activity, and deliver weekly reporting to senior leadership and PE board packages
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of 5+ billing and collections specialists, including setting productivity metrics and escalation protocols

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of billing/AR experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks Enterprise
• Experience in a somewhat manual enviroment
