Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Assistant Accounting Office Manager to support the Office Manager with the daily financial operations of our high-volume dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive accounting and a strong understanding of the various functions within an automotive accounting office. This position will be responsible for daily accounting responsibilities, assisting with month-end closing, and serving as a liaison between the accounting office, sales department, and finance managers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and dealership policies
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely posting, reconciliation, and collections
• Work with department leaders to align financial strategies with dealership goals
• Maintain accurate financial records and uphold data integrity across all systems
• Assist the Office Manager with month-end closing and related accounting activities
• Serve as a liaison between the accounting office, sales department, and finance managers
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an automotive dealership accounting office
• Automotive accounting experience required
• Reynolds experience required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
