Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in 1,900+ dental offices. Each Heartland Dental supported office is unique to the community and the patients they serve. As an Accounting Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:  

• Oversight of a team of individuals who ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and  applicable accounting policies. 
•  Perform detailed reconciliations reviews for balance sheet accounts monthly
•  Responsible for ensuring the monthly close process is executed timely and all balance sheet reconciliations  are completed accurately.
•  Ensure capital expenditure reporting is accurate and distributed timely
•   Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close reporting including preparation of  footnotes with proper support
•  Management of process improvement initiatives
•  Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners 
• Assist with system design and implementations when appropriate 
• Other projects as assigned
