Audit Manager

HornBill's Long Island, New York (NY) based CPA firm seeks Audit Manager. Essential Job Functions:

• Will manage diverse client engagements including job planning, execution and completion in accordance with Firm policies and professional standards
• Serve as primary contact for the client - prepare and deliver presentations to existing and potential clients
• Manage risk to ensure work product and overall engagements are meeting quality control and professional standards
• Monitor budgets and understands commercial aspects of client engagements such as billings and collections
• Assist partner in billing and collection processes
• Coach and motivate staff
• Run tax audits from start to finish
• Reviews tax returns on occasion

• CPA, 10+ years public accounting firm audit experience in Accounting
• Experience with accounting software, ProSystem FX Engagement and ProSystem * Employee Benefit Plan experience preferred
• Sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge
• Effective communication, research, analytical and writing skills
• FX Tax preferred
