Associate Finance Director, FP&A/Commercial Finance at a glance….
You will own the Finance Capability & Technology, FP&A/Commercial pillar at Kraft Heinz — the AI and automation capability spanning corporate FP&A, Commercial Finance, and the intelligence layer that connects financial planning to commercial decision-making. You will lead three Finance AI Leads (FP&A, Commercial Intelligence x2), two generalist Managers (Chicago and Amsterdam), and a GCC team in Mexico. You will be hands-on in shaping the roadmap, the stakeholder relationships with BU CFOs and the CFO organization, and the standards that keep this pillar defensible and adopted. This is both a leadership role and a builder role. You manage the team and you own the outcomes.
What’s on the menu?
- Own the Finance Capability & Technology, FP&A/Commercial pillar end-to-end — roadmap, delivery, operating model, and stakeholder governance across FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Sales Finance intelligence domains
- Lead and develop three Finance AI Leads and two Managers across Chicago, Amsterdam, and Mexico GCC — set priorities, run structured reviews, build technical and commercial depth, and hold the bar on output quality across a globally distributed team
- Be hands-on in design and build — shape the Snowflake Cortex agent architecture across FP&A and Commercial domains, review pipelines, and set the technical and analytical standards your Leads execute against
- Serve as the primary stakeholder interface for the CFO organization, BU CFOs, and Commercial Finance leadership — translate business problems into AI-ready solutions, manage expectations, and defend prioritization decisions
- Own the pillar roadmap — sequence use cases across FP&A, Commercial Intelligence, and Sales Finance, balance delivery capacity against stakeholder demand, and make tradeoff decisions without escalating everything upward
- Coordinate with the Finance AI Architecture pillar to ensure FP&A and Commercial solutions consume shared infrastructure — semantic models, agent frameworks, audit-trail patterns — rather than building in isolation
- Ensure data integrity, auditability, and SOX defensibility across all FP&A and Commercial Finance AI outputs — SAP/S4 lineage, Snowflake pipelines, and human-review checkpoints that hold up to internal and external audit scrutiny
- Drive adoption across FP&A and Commercial Finance teams globally — design change management that gets business partners using tools without hand-holding, and track adoption metrics honestly
Recipe for Success – apply now if this sounds like you!
- I have 8+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance analytics — with meaningful depth in financial planning, commercial decision support, or revenue management in a large CPG or consumer goods company
- I have led teams before — I know how to manage Leads and Managers, not just analysts, and I hold people accountable without micromanaging across time zones
- I am hands-on with Snowflake, SQL, and Python — I can review my team’s work technically and I understand how AI agents are built, not just what they produce
- I have experience building or overseeing AI agents, automation pipelines, or LLM-powered tools in a finance or enterprise context — I understand what production-grade means in a SOX-regulated environment
- I am fluent in SAP/S4 data structures and understand how FP&A and commercial financial data flows from transaction to planning to reporting
- I build credibility with BU CFOs and commercial finance leadership by delivering results, not by presenting roadmaps
- I can own a multi-domain roadmap, sequence competing priorities across teams in multiple geographies, and make tradeoff calls without escalating everything upward
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or CFA is a plus
Our Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values.
