- Leads the process of developing the company’s annual and mid-term sales plans/forecasts working with the VP, other executive staff, R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing and regional sales management.
- Analyzes sales trends and forecast worldwide sales and production demand working with Marketing and regional sales teams. Provides the management, Operations and Finance/Accounting with updated sales forecasts and analyses on sales trends and variances against forecasts and plans.
- Leads the processes of entering or adjusting sales plans/forecasts in the Hyperion application, identifying/addressing technical or system-related issues and making enhancements, changes or updates closely working with the Terumo Americas IT team.
- Manages communications, discussions and initiatives related to other sales planning/forecasting matters with MV-IT and TAH-IT.
- Develops various types of sales reports and analyses to keep the Staff, Marketing and sales management teams updated on the sales trends.
- Leads the efforts and initiatives to identify improvement opportunities, unmet needs and ways to improve the sales forecasting, sales reporting and annual sales planning functions. Develops and implements ways to make it easier for the management and sales/marketing teams to access/view/analyze sales trends. Takes the lead in implementing changes for improvement.
- Oversees the processes of developing, modifying and administering sales compensation programs for domestic and international sales teams working with the regional sales managements and the VP.
- Provides leadership and guidance for Sr. Sales Operations & Planning Analyst in achieving the objectives to support the WW Sales Planning and Sales Operations functions working with the VP and Director, Sales Operations.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience.
- Experience in sales planning.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Ability to be onsite 3-4 days a week in Aliso Viejo, CA
- Ability to summarize the essence of large volumes of data or complicated situations, issues and trends in simple terms, slides, graphs or spreadsheets.
- Ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- Ability to develop reports, summaries, sales and financial analyses, commentaries and strategic presentations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Accounting and corporate Finance.
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion EPM Workspace a plus.
