General Summary
This position is responsible for leading the Company’s accounting operations and external reporting, including general accounting, consolidations, payroll, and SEC reporting, to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial results. It establishes and maintains a disciplined and scalable financial close and reporting environment to support business performance and regulatory requirements.Essential Job Accountabilities
Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close process to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reported financial results
Direct general accounting and consolidation activities, including multi-entity close, eliminations, and joint venture accounting, to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
Oversee the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
Partner with Technical Accounting to incorporate complex accounting conclusions into financial statements and disclosures, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely execution
Oversee coordination with external auditors on audit planning, timelines, information requests, and issue resolution to enable efficient and timely audit completion
Ensure the integrity, governance, and continuous improvement of financial systems and data supporting consolidation and external reporting
Drive accountability across the close and reporting process by aligning cross-functional stakeholders and resolving issues that may impact financial results
Lead process improvement initiatives within close, consolidation, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting quality
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Treasury, FP&A, Tax, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit, to ensure accurate, consistent, and aligned financial reporting
Lead, develop, and retain accounting and reporting teams through effective organizational design, talent development, and performance management to support a high-performing function
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA preferred
Work Experience
12+ years of progressive accounting experience required, including a combination of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and public company corporate accounting
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or large projects required
Strong experience in SEC reporting, financial close, and consolidations required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with demonstrated ability to apply guidance to complex transactions
Proven ability to lead large-scale financial close and consolidation processes in a multi-entity environment
Ability to translate technical accounting guidance into practical application within financial statements and disclosures
Strong leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior leadership
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and close processes
Effective collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
High level of integrity, accountability, and sound professional judgment

Base Salary Range:
$223,378.00 - $335,066.00Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
