The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a market-leading, nationwide manufacturing powerhouse based in Fresno, CA to find a hands-on Controller. They are looking for a sharp, audit-ready numbers leader to own the month-end close process, spearhead financial audit coordination, and bring serious technical rigor to their growing operations.

The Package & Hours

• Base Salary is up to $175,000 + performance bonus.
• Onsite in Fresno, CA

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Conquer the Month-End Close: You will entirely manage and orchestrate the month-end close process, tracking team status and conducting a deep review of journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Audit General & Compliance: Serve as the main point of contact for the annual financial audit, ensuring all documentation is completely audit-ready. You will also oversee quarterly bank compliance and EBITDA addback tracking.
• Policy Creator & Problem Solver: Reassess, develop, and implement accounting policies to ensure total accuracy under GAAP, stepping in to solve complex technical accounting dilemmas (and partnering with external experts on things like acquisitions or new pronouncements if they pop up).
• Team Mentor: Provide direct leadership, training, and mentorship to the core accounting staff, fostering a collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset.
• Cross-Functional Partner: Work hand-in-hand with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to ensure financial data perfectly mirrors factory floor reality.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• The Blueprint: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• The Toolkit: 5+ years of related accounting experience, ideally blending a strong background in public accounting (audit) with corporate controllership.
• The Industry Edge: A solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing finance concepts is highly preferred.
• The Tech Stack: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating mid-sized ERP environments
• The Vibe: You are detail-oriented, collaborative, highly organized, and can handle confidential and sensitive financial information with absolute integrity.
