This role partners closely with the Controller and finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient close processes. The Assistant Controller plays a key role in executing accounting operations, supporting consolidation and reporting activities, and driving consistency across business units. Key Responsibilitie s Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal management reporting Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting Partner with business unit finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices across the organization Assist with external and internal audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests Support budgeting and forecasting processes through collaboration with FP&A and operational teams Drive process improvements in accounting operations, systems, and reporting workflows Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations and standardization efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Certified Public Accounting (CPA) preferred 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred Experience in construction, infrastructure, or multi-entity environments preferred Strong understanding of financial close, reconciliations, financial systems, and U.S GAAP Core Competencies Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Process improvement mindset with focus on scalability and efficiency Build your career with a company that values safety, integrity, innovation, and the people who make our success possible.
