APAC Head of Client Payroll Operations Singapore Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 Hybrid Intro As part of the global consolidation of payroll operations, the APAC Head of Client Payroll Operations is responsible for leading and aligning Client Payroll teams across the Asia-Pacific region. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple countries, driving service excellence, operational consistency, governance, and business performance. Reporting to the Global Head of Client Payroll, the APAC Head will oversee local payroll leaders across five to six countries and provide direct operational leadership to the Singapore payroll team. The role is accountable for regional performance, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, talent development, and the successful execution of transformation initiatives that support CSC's global payroll strategy. Some of the things you’ll be doing: Leadership & Operational Management · Lead and develop a high-performing regional payroll organization across multiple APAC jurisdictions. · Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, client service excellence, and collaboration. · Provide ongoing leadership and support to local payroll operational leaders. · Act as an escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. · Foster collaboration across markets by sharing best practices and driving standardization. · Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction. Governance, Reporting & Performance Management · Establish clear reporting lines and performance metrics to monitor regional financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. · Lead monthly business review meetings with local leaders to track and assess performance, address risks and service issues, and identify sales and improvement opportunities. · Oversee regional adherence to global standards and controls, while local payroll leaders remain accountable for compliance with country-specific regulatory requirements. Regional Business Integration · Integrate payroll operations with other CSC services in the region to strengthen end-to-end client delivery. · Support regional growth initiatives by ensuring payroll services are scalable, competitive, and aligned with commercial priorities. Stakeholder Engagement · Provide regular updates and insights to the Global Head of Client Payroll. · Partner with global and regional stakeholders to support transformation programs, system enhancements, and operational alignment initiatives and coordinate regional implementation through local payroll leaders. What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? · 8–10 years of experience in payroll operations, with exposure to international or multi-country environments. · Proven leadership and people-management experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. · Subject matter expert in Singapore payroll legislation, compliance, and operations. · Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for operational coordination, reporting and client escalations. · Ability to drive operational excellence, process improvement, and regional standardization. · Fluency in English (written and verbal) required and Mandarin (written and verbal) would be advantageous.
