Overview

RTW Investments is seeking an Accounting & AP Operations Specialist to join its Firm Services team. This is a unique opportunity to own the day-to-day accounting operations of a world-class global life sciences investment firm, serving as the internal hub for all accounts payable, expense management, and financial reporting activities. The role is flexible and can be structured at a range of seniority levels from a highly organized AP and expense specialist to a more seasoned accounting professional who can take on broader ManCo financial responsibilities over time.

This person will serve as the primary internal point of contact with RTW’s outsourced AP provider, ensuring smooth execution of all payables and compliance with firm processes and controls. At its core, this role is about ownership: the person in this seat runs their own function and treats every RTW colleague as a valued client.

This role reports to the Managing Director of Finance.

Qualifications and Skills


The base salary for this New York-based position ranges from $130,000 - $200,000 depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and the level at which the role is hired. In addition to the base salary, the role includes a discretionary incentive compensation program, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and life insurance, retirement plans, tax-free savings options, and access to additional healthcare programs.
