The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in data analysis, creating data insight/discovery solutions, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

As a Data Analyst, here's what you'll do:
• Combine knowledge of Microsoft Power Stack (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), SSRS, basic SQL programming, and more to produce innovative, automated, and efficient data solutions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Finance and Accounting teams to gather project requirements, align/adjust requirements according to available resources, and deliver maintenance or enhancements within agreed service level agreements.
• Proactively seek out opportunities for both process and insight improvement and make recommendations for implementation.
• Communicate complex analytical and technical information and make recommendations to project sponsors and senior level audiences.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Asurion's applications and system integration.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
• Minimum four-year college degree in related field (Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance/Accounting) or relevant experience
• Recommended two years of data analysis experience, preferably in the insurance or telecom industries.
• Ability to understand data models quickly and comprehensively.
• Strong analytic/problem-solving skills, writing skills, organization skills, prioritization skills, and communication skills.
• Experience working with complex data (writing basic SQL and functions in reporting applications).
• Capability to participate in multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with querying large data.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other equivalent applications a plus.
• Basic understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems a plus.
• Basic understanding of general ledger accounts and forecasting.

SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst – Supply Chain will fill a key role within Asurion’s Finance organization. This position will have primary responsibility for financial reporting and analysis across the Supply Chain organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial competence and business acumen, deep knowledge of financial reporting tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and exceptional communication skills. The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done. The candidate must be self-sufficient and confident in their ability to steer the company in delivering on its long-term business model.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage comprehensive monthly financial and operational reporting packages with emphasis on analytical decision support of leadership to optimize short and long-term business decisions and financial performance
- Financial Planning: Develop the financial and operational plans annually through an Annual Operating Planning process, monthly/quarterly through a monthly/quarterly Rolling Forecast process and intermittently throughout the year as needed.
- Drive Financial Performance: Drive financial performance by identifying and managing key drivers, developing financial, pricing and statistical models, and working with colleagues throughout Asurion to improve and manage the program’s performance
- Act as Internal, Strategic Consultants: Provide support by way of internal consulting projects, collaborating cross-functionally with the goal of maximizing profitability for the VP businesses and the Company and improving process efficiencies
- Manage multiple incentive programs
- Prepare meaningful and insightful PowerPoint presentations for operational executives
- Project manage reporting processes from initial data pulls through to final presentation with sharp focus on accuracy and process improvements to streamline reporting capabilities
- Functional subject matter expert for financial system evolution (Onestream, BI tools, automation, etc.)
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to support the broader Supply Chain team as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
- 2+years of related business experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, and/or analytics field.
- MBA or CPA preferred, but not required
- In depth financial planning, financial analysis, data mining, and modeling expertise.
- Strong Excel financial skills are critical
- Experience with Onestream and ThinkCell is highly desirable, but not required
- Intermediate to advanced technical skill, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
