Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pay and Schedule

• $17 - 19.00 an hour 
• Full-time, weekdays, flexible schedule

Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Specialist assists showrooms with managing the AR process of customer accounts. Necessary tasks Include:

•  Applying credits and processing customer refunds
•  Identifying, monitoring and collecting outstanding balances on customer accounts
•  Assist with processing customer payments
•  Generating account statements
•  Communicate with both internal and external customers via phone, email and mail
• Maintain accurate and thorough records
• Assists the Accounting Department with year end audit
• Other duties as assigned

Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED. 

Experience: Entry level position. Six months office experience preferred.

Physical Demands: Low physical demands required. The employee is regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
