Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely billing of EMC Customers upon completion of work.

Essential Job Functions:

• Process invoicing to customers and provide back-up support in all areas of customer billing.
• Track utility rebate payments, including documentation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Identify and communicate barriers to success, issues or problems to the Finance Leadership team.
• Actively participate in process flow documentation as well as standard operating procedures.  Identify opportunities for improvement in process efficiency.
• Provide back-up support to the Finance team and assist with projects as needed.
• Support the Finance management in various related activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Proven/verifiable skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and analysis.
• Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
• Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task.
• Possesses dependability, integrity and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

Education:

• Four-year degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.

Experience Preferred/Other Qualifications:

• 0-2 years Accounting experience.

Physical Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
