HornBill has a client in search of an Accounts Receivable Manager in Marlborough, Massachusetts (MA). Essential Functions:
- Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Allocate tasks to staff
- Contribute information to strategic plans and reviews
- Discuss and resolve problems and issues within the team
- Perform collection calls and/or correspondence to solicit payment on overdue accounts
- Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process refunds, process and review adjustments, and resolve discrepancies and short payments
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts
- Prepare customer reconciliations and process credit memos
- Work to reduce delinquency
- Maintain records of delinquent accounts, bankruptcies, and credit risks
- Prepare and files collections paperwork
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience as an AR Manager
- Experience with high growth and acquisitive companies is preferred
- Experience in forecasting
- Experience with online customer portals/billing
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills
