Action Property Management seeks a Accounts Receivable Associate – Collections for our corporate office located in Irvine, CA.
Job Summary
Process accounts receivable and collections activities for multiple associations. Post late charges, review accounts, process pre liens, liens, lien releases and attorney packs. Perform preparation and detailed review of delinquency reports and collection activities.
Compensation: $25 to $28 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
The position will be 100% in office for the first 90 days and then it will be a hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
- Prepare monthly delinquency reports
- Perform detailed account reviews
- Forward accounts to the attorney, monitor accounts while at the attorney, provide requested information to the attorney
- Request monthly status reports from attorneys
- Prepare and review pre lien, liens and lien releases
- Make adjustments to owners accounts
- Respond to homeowner correspondence and calls
- Ability to handle difficult owners calmly and efficiently
- Interact with managers
Who You Are (Skills/Experience)
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. College degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred, or 5+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, or cash posting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and accounting systems. Experience with CINC is a plus
- Strong Excel proficiency preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Power BI experience preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
