About the Team The AR team is part of the broader Finance/Order-to-Cash organization and is responsible for safeguarding revenue through effective receivables management. We work closely with cross-functional partners across Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to provide a seamless experience to customers while maintaining financial discipline. The team values ownership, transparency, and collaboration. We encourage data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement of our processes, and clear, empathetic communication with both customers and internal stakeholders. As a Cash Application Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to best practices and help shape how we scale our cash application operations as the company grows. About the Role Workday is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cash Application Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash (O2C) team. The role will be responsible for accurate and timely application of customer payments, bank and account reconciliations, investigation of unidentified or unapplied cash, and resolution of payment exceptions. The successful candidate will work closely with Collections, Billing, Credit, Finance, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams while supporting continuous improvement and automation of the cash application process. About You Basic Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a combination of Accounts Receivable, commercial (B2B) collections, accounting, finance or international business Accounting / Finance degree or equivalent level of experience Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
