Job Description
Pinnacle Partners is working to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist position.
Responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, making payments, and assisting with general accounting and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, code, and process invoices for payment.
- Obtain proper approvals and ensure invoices are accurate.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
- Process weekly payments through checks, ACH, and wires.
- Maintain accurate AP records and company credit card records.
- Review expense reports and credit card transactions for accuracy and proper coding.
- Prepare accounts payable reports for management.
- Assist with 1099 preparation and compliance.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Process and scan incoming invoices and mail.
- Assist with tracking and coding expenses related to company incidents and other costs.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Ability to learn new accounting systems and processes.
- Valid driver's license.
