Accounts Payable/Receivable Coordinator

The Coordinator, Accounts Payable is responsible for the timely turnaround of supplier invoices and payments while ensuring all accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles. Works with our Corporate Finance group in setting up suppliers in the company financial system (Oracle). Process all financial and accounting transactions (AP/AR/Billing/Collections/Credit Cards) to established standards and completed within targeted deadlines  Make administrative purchases for recurring lab and office supplies  Support payroll via Kronos timekeeping  Ensures outstanding account balances  Ensures compliance with all internal controls  Answer telephone, screen and direct calls in a timely and polite manner  Create reports required by management  Greet applicants, new hires, maintenance and visitors and direct to the correct destination  Receive, sort and distribute mail High school degree (Required) 2+ year experience in a related field (Required) Written and verbal communication skills necessary to cross multiple disciplines (Required) Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)   SGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristics protected by law.
