- Responsible for Accounts Payable. This includes:
- Coding and posting of invoices
- Reconciling general ledger to vendor statements
- Obtaining missing invoices
- Writing and mailing vendor checks, scanning vendor checks
- Creating new vendors in accounting system and determining 1099 status
- Posting to and reconciling Intercompany accounts
- Responding to basic customer service requests
- Attending department meetings as requested
- Typing, calculator, general computer skills a must
- Basic knowledge of 10-key functions
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under stress and fluctuating workload
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication imperative
- Automotive/Dealership experience highly preferred
- Must be able to meet company’s requirements for employment including background check and drug screening
