Accounts Payable Coordinator

Commonwealth Rolled Products is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area.

Our Cleveland, OH area office is seeking to add an Accounts Payable Coordinator to its Finance team. This position is responsible for performing administrative functions needed to process payments to suppliers in accordance with Commonwealth Rolled Products policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture.
• Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values; Safety Matters, One Team, Customer Focus and Own Excellence.
• Enforce company and Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
• Process incoming payables mail by sorting invoices and payment request documents into appropriate processing batches.
• Process PO and loose entry invoices in a timely manner for payment in Oracle.
• Resolve issues with vendors and buyers.
• Scanning and attaching invoice images within document capture software.
• Back up to other team members as necessary.
• Respond timely to internal & external customer calls and payment inquires.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Proficiency in computer data entry with experience in MS Office applications. Oracle experience preferred.
• Must have demonstrated experience in using general office equipment
• Must be able to process high volume transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work collaboratively in shared tasking environment with the ability to foster a team-based approach to work.
  

Preferred Qualification:

• 2 years experience in Accounts Payable.
