Position Summary:  

The Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for a full cycle of payables. Key responsibilities include verifying, auditing, processing and allocating invoices and expense reports, in addition to researching and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities:

·  Review and verify invoices and check requests.

·  Code and match invoices.

·  Prepare accruals for monthly close.

·  Post journal entries to the general ledger.

·  Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

·  Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

·  Assist in the monthly invoicing to the Airlines, Concessionaires and Department of Aviation.

·  Act as the concession coordinator which includes the responsibility to invoice monthly with associated details.

·  Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.

·  Maintain AP files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

·  Provide supporting documentation for audits.

·  Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting, Finance or related Business field.

·  2+ years’ experience in an accounting position specializing in accounts payable required.

·  Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.

·  Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

·  Core computer and applications competency relevant to the role to include MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

·  Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.
