Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-time)

Job Summary:

The Cardiovascular Care Group is seeking a qualified Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk, located at our Springfield, NJ business office, to assist in the processing of invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The ideal candidate should have QuickBooks experience, be continuously willing to learn, and have a can-do attitude.

Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures for multiple offices.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
• Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
• Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes.
• Make payments via check and ACH.

Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk Requirements and skills:

• Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks desktop and online software.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree (advantageous)
