Reporting to: AP Supervisor Location: Evansville, IN
Status: Non-Exempt (part-time)
Job Purpose: The accountant is responsible for reviewing and processing all internal invoices.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinates all accounts payable to ensure invoices are processed accurately. Work with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Verifies purchase orders and matches with receiving documents and invoices
- Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain the prepaid travel account
- Reconcile credit card statements with appropriate receipts and approvals
- High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field preferred
- Knowledge of AS400 and MS Office software, preferred
- 2+ years of previous related financial experience, preferred
- Attention to detail, high accuracy in entering financial data and catching discrepancies
- Organized and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sitting, talking and listening at least 2/3 of the time
- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Stooping and kneeling
- Fine motor coordination
- Office environment
