Accounting Technician

CQ Personnel, an affiliate of Back Bay Staffing Group, would like to present (2) long term contract opportunities in Boston. Duties include the following:- Enter data and perform calculations using spreadsheets and other software.

• Prepare spreadsheets and chart summaries of financial and other data under the direction of attorneys or experienced accountants.
• Obtain, organize and maintain documents in electronic and hard copy formats.
• Review and summarize documents orally and in writing.
• Search electronic databases and the Internet.
• Prepare external correspondence according to company standards.
• Participate in internal meetings to identify scope of assignments and manner of execution.
• Contact third-parties on behalf of the company to make oral and written requests for information.Qualifications:- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to build spreadsheets and analyze data within them.
• Ability to interact with various members of the finance community through written, electronic and oral communication.
• Ability to work within multiple teams at one time.
• Time management/multitasking.
• Attention to detail.
